Thanks, guys, for the feedback. I've heard of jEdit and another editor
called Bluefish, but I haven't tried any non-Studio editors since starting
to use Linux on the desktop (still dual-booting back to Win2k to run CF
Studio). Anyway, it looks like Quanta will also run on Windows (with Mac
versions to come in the future). From the comments I've read (here and
elsewhere), jEdit would appear to be the lead contender as the best
CF-Studio alternative on Linux.
