Ektron's products do not work on a MAC! You can find that in their system requirements page. You will also notice that their Netscape support is very limited it uses a plugin that embeds IE inside Netscape to run the control, so you still have to have IE 5+ installed on your computer to run. So your essentially using IE with a Netscape skin.
If Netscape had only though replacing their HTML render with IE all our Netscape problems would have been solved :) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Pete Freitag ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) CTO, CFDEV.COM ColdFusion Developer Resources http://www.cfdev.com/ -----Original Message----- From: Chuck Hergenroeder [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2002 9:12 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Activedit on MAC? Paris, It requires ActiveX technology which is not available on Mac. At the moment all of the WYSIWYG editors on the market suffer this limitation. ActivEdit 3 will address this problem. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Pete Freitag ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) CTO, CFDEV.COM ColdFusion Developer Resources http://www.cfdev.com/ -----Original Message----- From: Paris Lundis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2002 2:54 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: Activedit on MAC? anyone tested the ActivEdit technology on a MAC under IE? had someone try it and it didn't seem to work... reviewing options for WYSIWYG editor... -paris ______________________________________________________________________ Get Your Own Dedicated Windows 2000 Server PIII 800 / 256 MB RAM / 40 GB HD / 20 GB MO/XFER Instant Activation $99/Month Free Setup http://www.pennyhost.com/redirect.cfm?adcode=coldfusionb FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
