hello everyone.. i have a little problem... looking over the specs for this project i realise i have to do a search engine (its almost finished!).
I have many tables that pull data out in many different ways....... through multiple joins, etc. I was thinking i could use SQL full text searching for each section (ie - restaurants) - but the data is too complicated, and each page would have additional information pulled out. Basically I need a spider type search engine to crawl the dynamically produced cfm files and index all the text on the page. I know verity in cf5 has a spider.... has anyone used this.... would it work for my problem? Easy to use? Also, my host supporst MS Index server. Does it integrate well with cold fusion? ANyone have any code examples?
