I am using cf5 and <cfstoredproc> to insert a date/time into oracle 8i. If I pass only the date like this: <cfprocparam dbvarname="in_DATE_EVENT_END" cfsqltype="cf_sql_varchar" value="03-Jan-2002" type="in"> It works fine. but when I attempt to include the time as 03-Jan-2002 00:00 I get the following error ORA-01830: date format picture ends before converting entire input string ORA-06512: at line 1 anyone have any idea as to what I can do to insert a complete datetime value in oracle?
