No question is too dumb until you read below. I don't know if I am just having a brain fart or what, I am still new to CF but I should know this:
I am uploading a file to my server using <CFFILE> then I want to write the location of the file to the database in this format: #cffile.ServerDirectory#/#cffile.serverFile# My current <CFINSERT>/<CFSET> looks like: <CFSET uploadedFile="#cffile.ServerDirectory#/#cffile.serverFile#"> <cfinsert datasource="test" TABLENAME="Table1" formFields = "vehicleType,modelYear,manufacturerName,vehicleDescription"> How do I get it to pull the value from my variable and put it into the database using <CFINSERT> or other method? Right now it is just inserting form values from the previous page. Any Suggestions? Thanks!
