Not quite, theres a small batch file that comes with the com object, it 
will
register the dll with your machines OS, then your good to go.

Useage begins somethign like...

<cfscript>
obj = CreateObject("COM", "Intrafoundation.TCPClient");
</cfscript>

There are plenty of good examples with the DLL though.
