I am getting very frustrated with Verity. Here is the probem. We have the correct language packs installed on ColdFusion Entreprise Server 4.5.1 SP2. If we create the collections with any language but English, the Server doesn't recognize the collections, it shows them in the Coldfusion Administrator, you can repair them, delete them, create them, but you can't Update them or optimize them.
Now if we create the Collections in English, we can purge, repair, optimize and update them in French, but with DB queries, as soon as we try to UPDATE them with files it locks-up, but the funny part is that on some sites it has worked and still work, but lately, the new sites that we are trying to index, it locks up. If we try to update them with files in English, it will work fine. The request goes on for ever (I had to stop it after 45 min.), then we can't access the collection anymore as the lock is still actif. No choice but recycle the Coldfusion services. We are locking each <cfindex> action separately using the collection name as the lock name. It is not due the size of the collections, as we have much bigger collections that are working fine. We are using DreamWeaver to design our pages and Coldfusion Studio for the scripts. I noticed that DreamWeaver creates some hidden folders (_notes), I went and delete them from the server, but we are still getting the error.
