Hmm... That looks bad for me on XP/IE6. The "next" page starts at the bottom of the screen with a sea of white space above it.
-----Original Message----- From: Matt Robertson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] You have another option. Its cheating, but should dramatically simplify your coding (eliminates the need to pass vars from page to page) if all users are doing is simple entry: At the bottom of your screen the user is presented with the usual next/previous links. However, these links are just inline anchor links to the same page. The page itself has tiny transparent gifs stretched to, say, 1200 pixels in height in between your ''pages''. Moving from one page to another is just hopping around inside a single template. You can move back and forth freely until you submit. The only sign that anything unusual is going on comes when you notice the scrollbar indicates a long form. I first saw this from a designer who is doing a front end to a site where I'm doing the back end... if he ever finishes. See it in action at http://64.37.102.68/online/onlinequote.html Pick a state and you will be taken to this goofy form construct. The designer put in spacers that are too small, so if you're on a hi-res scrn keep in mind you have to use taller transparent gifs. ______________________________________________________________________ Get Your Own Dedicated Windows 2000 Server PIII 800 / 256 MB RAM / 40 GB HD / 20 GB MO/XFER Instant Activation $99/Month Free Setup http://www.pennyhost.com/redirect.cfm?adcode=coldfusionb FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
