The IE setting sounds good to me. We're in a controlled environment for browsers so I could have it enforced. The emails are uncontrollable though!

Or you could just set your target="_blank" in the email. ______________________ steve oliver atnet solutions, inc. http://www.atnetsolutions.com -----Original Message----- From: Hays, Duncan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2002 1:48 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: Can you stop a link in an email from taking over your window When I click on a link in an email, it opens the page in the most recent browser window. Since I'm creating apps the run in their own window I don't want that window taken over. Has anyone dealt with this effectively before? I'm going to try to work it out with some JS but I'm not sure how complicated that might get. tia ______________________________________________________________________ Why Share?
