Dear all, Firstly thanks for the replies I received earlier. I tried what was suggested and it has worked up to a point.
The problem I have now is that I need to assign the primary key field name to a variable. Is it possible to do this without knowing the name of the primary key? i.e SELECT key FROM tablename or similar. I realise that is flawed logic but I was wondering if there was a similar technique which can be employed. Regards, Martin. ______________________________________________________________________ Dedicated Windows 2000 Server PIII 800 / 256 MB RAM / 40 GB HD / 20 GB MO/XFER Instant Activation $99/Month Free Setup http://www.pennyhost.com/redirect.cfm?adcode=coldfusiona FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
