sounds like you are using Access? is there a .ldb file? If so then all you have to do is run a bad query against the database (mabye a few times). Create a file with the bad query (SELECT Something FROM Nothing) and run it in a browser.....that will kill the lock file when it creates an error (if it doesn't work the first time...try again). You could also simply try restarting CF Server if you have access to it.
