Well, when I saved the source out as static HTML, it displayed
fine. It's only when the page is generated dynamically, with
the <cfexit> in a particular custom tag, that the page breaks.

This seems to break the laws of web architecture, if not physics!
Again, the only thing I can think is that there's a very obscure
and particular bug in CF Server that results in some alteration of
the HTTP header, which in turn interacts with some very obscure
and particular bug in IE's rendering engine.

I always like to come out of fixing bugs with some understanding
of what went wrong, to broaden my knowledge, but I guess this
is too convoluted and mysterious, and I'll just have to leave it.
