I thought Microsoft used the APPLET tag for applets, just like pre-Mozilla Netscape did...? The HTML 4.0 spec did deprecate the EMBED tag and assign a different usage for the existing ActiveX-specific OBJECT, but I'm not sure what sort of migration path they planned here for realworld use. Can you use APPLET in these browsers and get the results you want...? jd John Dowdell, Macromedia Tech Support, San Francisco CA US Search technotes: http://www.macromedia.com/support/search/ Offlist email risks capture by the spam filters.
