You have to enable/manage mySQL dsns thru the Windows ODBC control panel applet, although CF can verify them once you've plugged them in. Unfortunately CF doesn't directly support mySQL in the Administrator. Simple enough if you have server admin access, but on a shared host you'd be out of luck.
