I thought that client variables were extinguished every time the browser was
closed. Perhaps I was wrong with this.

I am developing an access control app using client vars and when I close the
browser and open it again, I am still logged in and can just go direct to my
protected page. When I open a totally different browser (e.g. netscape4.7
instead of IE5,) I am sent to the login page as I expected, so part of the
system is working ok.

Do client vars expire when the browser is closed? Or do I have to expire
them myself somehow? In which case, how do I detect that the browser has
closed and the client vars have to be killed?

Cheers,
