Not that this solves your problem, but why not download the developer 
version of CF 5, which is fully functional but limited to one IP address? 
Seems to me that if you're trying to learn CF, you should take advantages of 
things not in the old CF Express (which doesn't exist anymore, by the way) 
such as custom tags.
