Hi,

AKAIK thats one of the differences between 'professional' and
'enterprise' -
the extra money goes towards Merants ODBC/Native drivers (not cheap
:-).

HTH,

Ian

Subject: CF Oracle ODBC Drivers

I have a local copy of CF Server installed on my machine. When I go
into CF
Administrator I see Merant ODBC Drivers for Oracle. We run CF
Professional
on
our servers. Those servers do not display ANY Oracle ODBC drivers in
the CF
Administrator. I know that these can be set up using MS ODBC Admin
Applet
but
I would prefer not to go that route because we don't have control of
the
server itself. It would be easier if I could create from the CF
Administrator. So to my question...

Does anyone know where I can get the Merant ODBC Driver for Oracle and
how
do
I get them installed on CF Professional Server so that they show up in
the
list.

BTW, The local install I performed must have added the MErant drivers
to my
system because I never installed them separately. Was this perhaps on
option
with the CF Professional install that was not selected?

Thanks Everyone
