I'm investigating moving a couple of small web sites that use Access 97 and
Access 2000 databases to MSDE. Much as I've read about MSDE, I've still got
a slew of question. Here are just a couple:

1. Migration. Is it necessary to 'upsize' an Access database to MSDE to be
able to use MSDE? Is the process just as painful?

2. Column datatypes. Are the available datatypes the same as in Access 2000
or the same as in MS SQL 2000?

3. Management. I've alternately read that MS SQL Enterprise Manager is
necessary for managing an MSDE database, and others have said that Access
2000 can be used. Any insight here?

4. Connecting. Which ODBC driver is used - SQL Server?

Thanks,
Jim
