Another thing to check is that if the trusted connection you have created the table from (for example your NT username) is different from the login name that CF logs onto to run as a service (prob not your username), you have to preface the tablename as such:
username.settings unless that account is DBO then dbo.settings - j jim.curran technical.director nylon.technology 212.691.1134 [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: Chris Montgomery [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2002 6:33 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: SQL Server Login failed Ok, enabling trusted connections and entering the database's login info in the CF Administrator let me log in thru CF, but now I'm getting a SQL base table not found error: "Error Diagnostic Information ODBC Error Code = S0002 (Base table not found) [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'Settings'. SQL = "SELECT * FROM Settings" The table is there, I've viewed/edited it in Enterprise Manager. Any idea what could be causing this? The query seems pretty simple.
