Many of you probably know that Macromedia is now offering an XML resource 
feed, as described here:

http://www.macromedia.com/desdev/articles/xml_resource_feed.html

  I wrote a function to parse the XML and turn it into ColdFusion 
variables.  It is located here:

http://www.instantcoldfusion.com/files/MacromediaXMLFeed.zip

  This in no way counts as a generic XML parser, and it is not the 
prettiest output at the moment, but it is functional.  Once you have the 
data as ColdFusion variables you can manipulate it much easier to do 
whatever you want to do to it.  Feedback is welcome, enjoy!  I need sleep
