I know that some people are going to disagree with me.. but I hate using the
storedproc tag.

Try running this through cfquery and see what happens...
<cfquery name="YestPayments" datasource="Paragon">
execute sp_ktChgsPmtsByDate @sdate='#sdate#',@Edate='#edate#'
</cfquery>
