Ah, storyboarding.

Do your clients let you do this anymore? :)

It depends for me on the media types covered, the output medium, and for what the
stoyboards are used.

I've used everything from IVD Toolkit on the Mac (c. 1987), to Filemaker Pro, to
Foxpro, to Word, and even a live prototype environment with DHTML markup/comments.

Is there music?narration?animation?video?
How many scenes/pages/hours?
Is the output to a computer screen?video?
How many screens?
How many review levels?internal or external?

Mostly now, for CF driven sites, I use a fuse-like system that automatically versions
the site, and allows users to drag comment boxes and dots onto the actual screen.
These comments and arrows can then be turned on and off by type of comment and user
for each round of edits.
The whole set can then be printed, along with narration text, music notes, etc. with
or without specific comments.

And the comments are tracked much like bug reports. Priority level, who fixed it, date
fixed, etc. to keep track of what was "fixed" and what was not.

Any suggestions on software to use for storyboarding? If not specific software for
that purpose, what are you using that makes your life easier?

Thanks in advance,
