Client variables only store simple values. Complex datatypes would have to be serialized using WDDX or something similar.

The problem is, the web farm switches from server to server every 15 minutes to whichever server has the least traffic, which causes me and any other user to have to re-login to password protected areas on the site every 15 minutes.
