I took a script I found on the web and converted it to a custom 
tag to convert Word documents to html.  You need to have Word installed on 
the server with the html file conversion installed.  It's a little quirky, 
in that each Word install can have the html conversion called by a 
different format number, but it works well for us.  The only other issue is 
that the raw html it produces is hideous, but it displays fine.  If you'd 
like a copy, email me off list and I'll send it...it probably wouldn't take 
much work to extend it for Excell and Powerpoint.
