I understand what you are saying, but I don't agree in all situations. We are getting to the point where there are just too many toolsets to manage and maintain, especially as your environment grows. If you have a powerful tool that meets your needs, why not use it as often as you can? It seems silly to me to learn an entire new tool just because your existing tools aren't "made" for that use, even if it meets the need. At some point, the costs of maintaining so many specialized environments outweighs the incremental benefits that those specialized tools get you.
