Why not the registry. With a limited user base of 6K users, is there a risk
involved with using the registry?

first off should be using a datasource to store your client variables in
NOT
the registry. with that said, I usually put my setting to 7 days.

Subject: CFID/Token - Easy question
What interval should you have your cfadministrator clear out the client
variable entries stored in the system registry for CFID/Token ? Right now
its set to 90 days which seems a bit long, meaning, if I log into the
application again I will be using the existing CFID/Token unless 90 days
pass before next logon. I would think you would want like a 12 hour
setting? That way if a person longs into your application the next day you
will get a new CFID/Token or is it best to have 1 person carrying around
the same CFID/Token indefinitely, assuming they logged in at least 4 times
per year under the 3 month interval?
Thanks for your input
