I use the query2excel tag and a custom script to allow a user to export data from a table and download a file. Problem is, if there is a lot of data in the file, this can take a long time and is a bit error prone. Does anybody know of a better way to export data?
Is it possible to trigger a function with SQL Server to do the selective data export and then have SQL Server write the file to the webserver in preparation for download? Thank your for your input!
