Leave it to you to find the exception to the rule! Seriously, though, even then, performance may not be hit that badly, assuming you've got a well-tuned network storage system. And, of course, in a clustered server environment (where network storage is often used), the cost of writing it to NFS will be paid back by the fact that all cluster members can take advantage of the cached file. > What was that about a sufficiently talented fool?
