If you're using Mac IE5 to post a multipart form with a "file" field in it, IE5 will post a temporary file to the server regardless of if you've selected a file to upload or not. It seems to work OK when you are actually uploading a file, but when you leave the field blank, it still posts a .temp file. On the page that receives the posted information, you'll get some kind of indication that the "file wasn't found" when you leave the field blank. You can't differentiate between a blank "file" field and one with an actual file either since in both cases, they upload a .temp file...it looks like a big workaround from the Mac IE5 Development team...a really bad workaround.
