He's like a hard core Java guy ya? They're all about session|entity "beans", and storing their "business logic" there. It's just a way of looking at it, but many java guys will bite you if you try to bring up others ways - given their fanatically religious feelings about their language :) It's almost worth not going there. Rest assured, CF will soon be buzzword... errr... J2EE compliant :)
