That was not the issue in my case. I checked (and double checked and triple checked.) I also checked to be sure it was using TCP/IP and not Named Pipes. I also checked (and double checked and triple checked) the user id and password for the data source. I didn't change the ODBC data source at all because it was setup correctly. I restarted the server and all was well.
