Anybody know where I can get a free SSL certificate to turn on the encryption on my webserver? I just need something to turn on the encryption for some Development servers, nothing fancy.
I used to use Verisign's Trial Certificate, but they haven't responded in any way for a couple days now. I tried Thawte (they want my passport number, social security number, or drivers license number) and GeoTrust. I've heard to snakeoil.com (!!) but can't find them. I'm trying to make my own Certificate using SSLeay, but I'm not making much headway.
