Well, developers become emotionally attached to their development tools,
but ...

I tried DW4 once, and gave up on it. It was not a developer's tool,
simple as that.

I am now using DWMX exclusively, and have been for 4 or 5 months now.
Sure, there are little things that I need to get used to and a few
features I miss (same happens each time you upgrade Windows or Office),
but aside from that - yes, it is very usable and is a real developers
editor.

Subject: Dreamweaver MX Functionality?? (was: CFMX etc etc)

The screen shots I've seen for Dreamweaver MX seem to have a fair bit of
the CF Studio functionality embedded. Such as the Tag Completion for
one. I'm hoping CF Studio and Dreamweaver become much more integrated -
afterall, Dreamweaver is one of the best tools from a Design viewpoint,
and CF Studio is one of the best tools from a Development viewpoint.

Anyone know more on this? Can Dreamweaver MX now compare with CFStudio
from a developers perspective? (keeping in mind I haven't touched
Dreamweaver for some time, or kept up with the news on it).

Dreamweaver MX will come with HomeSite +, which is ColdFusion Studio.

However, I believe that since the fact that ColdFusion Studio /
Homesite is not being re-branded under the MX name says a lot about
Macromedia's commitment to it.
