I will check into the genericness of the fields.  Could be that is causing 
me problems though it seems unlikely.

I did what you suggested and it does work, but what a kludge!  What causes 
this to happen?  Any idea?  In this project it really stood out so it was 
easy to notice but I worry about others where maybe the results are just 
numbers and it would be really hard to even notice it is happening until it 
got noticed in a really bad way.
