As others have pointed out, your best option is to export the data into a database.
You don't want to run FM as a Web database if you don't have to. Last I heard, it's only single-threaded and I don't believe that's changed. So it's slow on concurrent connections. However, if you must do FM, you might want to consider using BlueWorld's Lasso, which is designed to work with FM. www.blueworld.com. Lasso won't be hard for you to pick up at all. It's got a lot in common with CF, though not as robust or flexible, but all of the same basic features are there. And if you're willing to host the site on a Mac server, there are lots of hosting companies that specialize in that ... if that's the direction you decide to go, write to me and I'll give you a good recommendation for a hosting company.
