I'd recommend you find a copy for cf_dump.cfm -- it's great for
debugging.
The problem is if your url.id isn't defined, the query doesn't get built
so your cfoutput is calling a nonexistent query. You could put the
cfoutput inside the cfif.... ?

YES! That is why this is so confusing to me. I revised the statement
and here is what I have:
<CFIF IsDefined("URL.ID")>
<CFQUERY NAME="queryname" DATASOURCE="#db#">
SELECT contact.contact_key, progress.*
FROM contact,progress
WHERE contact.contact_key = progress.contact_key
AND contact.contact_key = #SESSION.member_contact_key#
ADN contact.contact_key = #URL.contact_key#
</cfquery>
</cfif>
<cfoutput query="progress_report">
This is the error I am getting:
Error Diagnostic Information
QUERY
The QUERY attribute of the tag does not specify the name of an available
query
The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier
of
(CFOUTPUT), occupying document position (75:1) to (75:34).
=======
Any suggestions?
