Well, sort of.

I found out that my problems are limited to CF on Windows. I've been
running my test code on CF5/Win2k/Apache. I found out that the kind souls
who have been helping me that actually have code running are using
CF4.5SP2 on Solaris. So I tried running the same code on another server
(CF5/Linux) and it worked.

#$%^^@^@^Win32!!!!

Hope that helps someone, I've been banging my head on this for days. Looks
like I'll be moving to my Linux servers sooner than I thought. ;p
