Hello Cf-Talk, I'm having a major brainfart here. After running a query I need to output a list of order info. If a field is blank, I want to output a default value instead of just showing a blank.
Within the query output block, this works: <cfif Not Len(company)>blah blah<cfelse>#Company#</cfif> (if the value of Company returned by the query is blank, "blah blah" gets displayed) But if I do this, it doesn't work: <cfif not len(Company)><cfset Company = "blah blah"></cfif> #Company# (no "blah blah" if the returned Company field is blank) What am I not seeing here?
