VMware or similar virtual machine software 2. boot between multiple OSs (have fun with that) 3. find a cheap (free?) machine for a test platform Personally, I'd recommend VMware, although having cheap machines around is pretty good too. I don't use VMware for testing multiple IE versions, but it'll certainly work for that, and I give it a big thumbs-up.
