Old is good. History is what got us here. Just as an example - the Google lists of what happened when are excellent.
http://www.google.com/googlegroups/archive_announce_20.html And the way back machine is very cool, as well. http://www.archive.org/ I'll give up speed (a little, anyway) for history. But I really want both. As for the other fields I would want on a threaded forum, I think you have hit my hot spots (which is why I didn't answer.) And as any user will tell you - I'll get back to you when I see it working. =) Jerry Johnson >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 06/06/02 01:45PM >>> Do you know who created the initial idea of Fusebox, before the name existed? Someone looking over the April 98 posts would know. OK, it's useless trivia, but as long as I have it I might as well put it up. You never know what someone said or the flow of logic that took place to get to a 'standard' piece of code that we may use today. The older archives are low on my list of things to do so it wouldn't interfere with the current projects. At 10:10 AM 6/6/02, you wrote: >>We don't have a SQL server yet.
