Well, honestly, I can see why Macromedia may be unhelpful in this case, not
that this excuses anyone's bad behavior. The CF server is a relatively
simple application, with no GUI components, and there's no reason that it
should interact with your browser install at all.

When you say that IE won't open images or use styles or JavaScript, does
this only apply to files on your server, or to files on other people's
servers? That is, if you go to a public URL that uses images, styles and
JavaScript, those things won't work then?
