MM highly discourages using the standalone version in a production environment. Look through the docs and it's written all over. It's there for development purposes only. It comes with a stripped down version of JRun 4, and my guess is that the "stripped down" part that's left doesn't include all the performance optimizations of the full JRun 4 product. Personally, I would be suprised if it's successful under a heavy load. Of course, that would also depend on your definition of "heavy load" I guess too.
