class files aren't encrypted, they're compiled. Not the same thing -- there
are PLENTY of decompilers for java bytecode. Of course the code you get back
can be pretty henious as far as variable names, etc, but you can figure
usually it out.

In the pure Java world, TowerJ makes a product that compiles to native code
and somehow encrypts in the process -- I don't know about it personally
except from trying it to improve performance on a JRun 2.3 app.... :)
