This library does indeed have some very powerful features and I am sure that there is a JSP lib out there that already makes use of the methods that you are looking for, but there is one small problem, at least I think it may be a problem, this library appears in Java 2 Standard Edition 1.4 but I do not think that MX support only goes up to 1.3.x. Now I don't see this as a real problem because you can tell MX which compiler you want to use even if you are using the 1.4 version but it is something that should be noted nevertheless.
It is a good idea though and worth investigation.
