Hmmmm, my understanding is that their is an implicit "commit" with each hit to Oracle from the CF-User, which nullifies any benefits of cftransaction, and makes it not a guarantee that the currval will work. I'd be psyched if I was proven wrong. But, that's the info that I have from my DBA and others.
