CNJCFUG Tues 7/16/02 -------------------- The next meeting of the Central Jersey ColdFusion User Group will be held on Tuesday July 16, 2002 from 1:30 to 5:00 PM in the Auditorium of the Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals Building in Raritan, NJ. Two outstanding speakers have agreed to give presentations on the following topics: 1. ColdFusion Code Security by Michael Smith, TeraTech Michael will discuss common security holes your code may have in it and how to fix them. Including URL and Form issues, why cookies may be dangerous and how to prevent fake form submits. He will also discuss encryption of both code and data. Be the first to learn how to hack into your site (and prevent it) before someone else does! Michael is president and founder of TeraTech http://www.teratech.com/, a 13-year-old Rockville, Maryland based consulting company that specializes in ColdFusion, Database and Visual Basic development. Michael has been programming for over 20 years and has been coding in ColdFusion since version 1.5 six years ago. He is a frequent contributor to Fusion Authority, the ColdFusion Developer Journal and the CPCUG monitor and runs the CF Bug Hunt and CF Conf websites for the ColdFusion community. 2. ColdFusion MX by Tim Buntel, Macromedia. Tim is the Product Manager for Macromedia ColdFusion Server. He has also been developing with ColdFusion since version 1.5. Tim is a published author and a frequent speaker at User Groups, training, and other industry events. Tim led several hands-on sessions and was also part of the keynote presentation at last year's Macromedia Developers Conference in Orlando, FL.
