Can you break that down a little for me? Where/How would I be setting
the cookie name and value? With CFCOOKIE?

Setting a cookie simply adds a header to the document returned to the
browser.  And, since you can send multiple Set-cookie headers in your
response it will not interfere with CFID/CFTOKEN.  You can set the
cookie name and value and add a domain with a wildcard like
"*.ediets.com".
