After a little thread I have just had recently with one of the lists members
offline I was wondering what everyone thought or had any insight on the
future/development of WDDX?
Personally I love it and embraced Spectra, probably the largest app to be
using it from the outset as I think (performace aside) that it is still the
best model for a web application to be built - with regards to Re-Useable
database schema, and the Spectrum of participants et al.
R.I.P Spectra as we know it, but from the outset I think it should have been
given away free (I know it cost a lot to develop as a framework with CF and
it could have united a community of developers in the way Fusebox has done
and gained quite a substantial market share.
With the integration of the COAPI into Neo where will the role of WDDX lie?
Wonder if anyone has any thought on this or has anyone like me been
developing for WDDX?
