In case it is of help to others it turns out that CFhttp.file content in 4.01 is not ideal and one should use the file and path parameters in <cfhttp rather than use cffile to write to the disk.
This solved my problem Thanks to Dave Watts on the CF list for solving this one. Is anyone else using CF4.01 NT4.0 and the Toolkit ?
