Dear Anders I'm afraid that the XML Toolkit requires ColdFusion 4.5 or higher. Having said that, the code is open source and it shouldn't take too much work to fix the bits which fail under CF 4.
Unfortunately I don't have a version of ColdFusion 4 anymore so I can't check this for you - perhaps your best bet is to persuade your hosting company to upgrade. ColdFusion 4 must be two years old by now! Any ColdFusion / XML tools will benefit significantly from the upgrade to CF 5, which handles CFOBJECT and Java CFX tags much better than before.
